The Babbler was on a tear today. She asked the person on the other end of the line a series of questions: "Where's your fucking gold earrings?" "Where's your cell phone?" "Where's the mousse you use to pretty up your hair?" "Where's your lipstick?" Babbler, maybe she'd answer if you'd let her get a word in edgewise. But no. You're far too busy making noise in the bathroom of the building you work in!

Emancipate her!

Encountered The Babbler in the bathroom four days ago. Speaking on her cell phone en Spanglish again about her 16 year old relative (could not confirm if it was her child or not), she said, "She wants to run around here and there with her boyfriend, doesn't do any chores, wants money and won't get a part-time job- that's fine, pero she's going to have to emancipate herself!"

I say, emancipate your cell phone talkin' derriere from this bathroom, lady!

Recent Sighting

Encountered the Babbler in the stall next to me, this afternoon. She was speaking en Spanglish to someone about "folding" something. I in turn, starting singing the song "Conquest!" as covered by the White Stripes, as loud as I could without being obnoxious.

Huullo...

I enter the bathroom and pass a woman who is standing at the sink not really doing much of anything. I go into a stall and that's when her phone rings:

Her: HUULLO? (this is said so loud that it echoed)
Caller: where you at? (yes, I can actually hear her call, it may have been on speaker phone)
Her: IN THE BATHROOM!
Caller: (couldn't hear this part)
Her: Well, you dint SAY that.....
Caller: (also couldn't hear this)
Her: UH-HUH.
Caller: (blah blah blah)
Her: Well if you let me get offa here....
Caller: (blah)
Her: OK
Caller: (blah blah blah)
Her: UH-Un
Caller: (blah blah blah)
Her: WELL.....
Caller: (blah blah blah)
Her: Im gonna... (blah)...GIRL....(blah)....YEAH!
Caller: (blah blah blah)
Her: Ok, right NOW.
Hangs up.

Not only was she LOUD and YELLING most of her conversation but she could have stepped into the hallway where her volume would have been appropriate with all the construction sounds and banging they do.....

Ahhh... the wonderful stories of homeownership. Apparently Bathroom babbler has some mortgage issues and she feels like she's paying the mortgage to accommodate the entire neighborhood!

According to the grapevine the babbler was spotted early this week. Be sure to keep your eyes and ears peeled. You may never no when the babbler will return...

Alls quiet on the flushing front...

So far, so good. Granted, I've only been in the bathroom once today. And I haven't heard any complaints from any of the other ladies......Maybe she called in sick today....One can only hope....
